About Bayside Coaches

The company known as Bayside Coaches was established in 1995, initially operating out of an old bus depot in Sandringham. However, with an ever-expanding fleet, Bayside Coaches quickly outgrew this depot and moved briefly to  Bentleigh before a purpose-built depot was established in Moorabbin East. We moved in 1999 to our new modern coach depot which is fully concreted and designed for the efficient and safe movement of fleet. Since the original construction of the land and buildings, we have constantly improved our office space, recycling systems for water, cleaning systems for wastewater, improved workshop facilities and so on.

Bayside Coaches have grown to be one of Melbourne’s largest and most respected charter only coach companies and we strive to continue our successful formula of “a quality service for a fair price”.

The majority of vehicle maintenance work is performed on-site at the Moorabbin East Depot. Mechanical repairs are undertaken by a team of full-time mechanics, who also oversee the operation of an apprentice program in the company’s workshop. Coaches are cleaned and re-fuelled on-site on a daily basis so that they are ready for service the following day.

Bayside Coaches is a fully accredited bus operator and adheres to the Department of Infrastructure guidelines of accreditation, our accreditation number is  AO 000851.

One of the most important elements of a successful charter company is the staff, always well presented our

Bayside Coaches Driver/Guides wear their uniform proudly. With extensive driving experience,

great client relations along with the ability to give full commentary on prearranged touring.

All our driving staff hold a Heavy Vehicle License, Drivers Certificate and Working With Children cards.

We have a comprehensive induction program for new drivers and undertake regular training for existing drivers to keep their driving and customer service skills at the high level that you expect.
